TactoTek® Online Adds New SurfaceLight and Halo Emblem Resources for IMSE® Designers

TactoTek® Online has been updated with new and enhanced resources that deepen technical support for IMSE® SurfaceLight design and development - among other updates and additions.

The SurfaceLight Solution Package introduces expanded design instructions for both reverse and forward stack configurations, along with new examples for light engine layouts and optical simulation. The updated IMSE SurfaceLight Platform Design Application Note reflects the latest design learnings and layout best practices, and the refreshed Halo Emblem Reference Design includes illumination results and downloadable design files for validation and benchmarking.

Supporting documentation has also evolved. Component Datasheet Amendments (CDAs) for selected LED components and passive materials have been aligned with current IMSE design and manufacturing methods, ensuring accurate integration data for material and process compatibility.

Further improvements include refinements to the Print Design Instructions, particularly within the A-Film and B-Film design sections, and new content for Design for Manufacturing.

These updates enhance the consistency and completeness of TactoTek’s digital design ecosystem—helping IMSE designers move from concept to manufacturable design with greater precision and confidence.
