Empowering Innovation: New Features and Updates in TactoTek® Online

At TactoTek®, we’re dedicated to keeping our licensees equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in IMSE® design and manufacturing. With our releases we continuously build on that foundation—bringing new features, refinements, and other resources to TactoTek Online.

TactoTek Online is your one-stop digital platform for the latest IMSE® design guidelines, manufacturing instructions, and technology updates. If you’re exploring how a TactoTek license could accelerate your development work, you can learn more [here].

What’s New in TactoTek® Online?

Over the past months, we’ve introduced a range of updates designed to support your work with IMSE technology. Highlights include:

  • New Reference Designs: Halo, Bolt, and Spark -Three new reference designs showcase how IMSE® enables thin, durable, and efficient illuminated solutions—from perimeter lighting for emblems (Halo) to single and multi-light line configurations for interior and exterior applications (Bolt and Spark).
  • New Features - Integrated connectors, seamless light line intersections, and high-intensity dynamic lighting in compact areas.
  • IMSE Recycling: Towards Circularity - An information package on recycling developments and technologies supporting circularity in IMSE® applications.
  • FLI Update – LightChannels 1–5x30–40 Light Segment - A new shape that allows easier multiplication and integration in complex designs, supporting even more flexible and dynamic illumination applications.
  • Guidelines and Process Updates – Refined FPC bonding guidelines and small interconnection material updates for improved performance and material compatibility

A Quick Reminder: Continuous Release Model

We shifted from four-month release cycle to a release-when-ready approach earlier this year. Instead of waiting for large, scheduled updates, new content and features are published as soon as they’re finalized.

This means you get faster access to the latest IMSE® materials, design guidelines, and technology updates—helping you stay ahead in your development work.

To keep up with the newest additions, remember to visit the New in Online section regularly.
