Oulu, Finland, and Suzhou, China – April 28, 2026 – TactoTek, the pioneer in In-Mold Structural Electronics (IMSE®) technology development and licensing, today announced a new licensing agreement with Suzhou Rixian Optical Technology Co., Ltd. (Suzhou Rixian). Suzhou Rixian has established itself as one of the leading automotive lighting prototype providers in China.
Under the agreement, the company will deliver rapid prototyping of fully functional IMSE parts, meeting local OEMs' expectations for cost-efficiency, execution speed, and fast iteration cycles when developing next-generation products. This partnership strengthens TactoTek’s rapidly growing global IMSE ecosystem by reinforcing design-phase validation in China.
TactoTek’s IMSE technology integrates lighting, touch controls, electrical components, and circuitry directly into three-dimensional molded structures. By replacing conventional multi-component architectures with structural electronics, IMSE enables lightweight, thin, smart surfaces that combine distinctive design and improved performance with reduced assembly complexity and lower total system costs.
