Global Technology Ventures and TactoTek® Sign a Licensee Agreement, Expanding IMSE® Production Capacity in North America

Oulu, Finland and Farmington Hills, MI, USA – February 2, 2026 – Global Technology Ventures Inc. (GTV) and TactoTek®, the pioneer of In-Mold Structural Electronics (IMSE®), today announced a technology licensing partnership that will enable GTV to incorporate IMSE technology into its customers’ programs. The collaboration brings together GTV’s hybrid design, engineering, and manufacturing model – spanning rapid prototyping, precision tooling, and low-volume production – with TactoTek’s patented IMSE technology.

IMSE technology integrates lighting, touch controls, circuit structures, and other electronic functions directly into three-dimensional injection-molded surfaces. This approach transforms conventional component architectures into smart, lightweight, and space-saving designs, without compromising performance and design. By licensing IMSE technology, GTV can now help customers build electronic intelligence directly into molded parts earlier in their development cycles, reducing complexity and time-to-market. GTV serves innovators across automotive, aerospace, consumer product, and medical sectors.

“GTV’s expertise in guiding programs from early development through production creates a strong foundation for applying IMSE in real-world programs successfully,” said Sami Hyyryläinen, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Strategic Sales and Markets Expansion at TactoTek. “Engineers and designers value the advanced functionality and design freedom that IMSE enables. We are pleased to welcome GTV as a partner and are confident that, with GTV’s leadership, new innovators in North America will begin implementing IMSE into their programs in the near term,” Hyyryläinen continued.

“IMSE adds a powerful new dimension to how we support our customers,” said Steve Willis, President of Global Technology Ventures. “It allows us to integrate intelligent functionality directly into molded structures early in development, when design choices matter most. This aligns closely with our role as a partner to engineers and program teams – working collaboratively to refine concepts, reduce complexity, and deliver solutions that are ready for production. We are excited about this partnership with TactoTek and look forward to supporting our customers as they develop next-generation structures where intelligence, structure, and aesthetics converge.”

The partnership extends the IMSE ecosystem in North America, giving design teams direct access to a local partner with IMSE know-how. Customers will benefit from a streamlined development pathway that combines TactoTek’s innovative smart surface technology with GTV’s manufacturing discipline and long-term program commitment. The result is smarter, more integrated products that meet demanding timelines and enhance end-user experiences. Following the nomination of IMSE technology for automotive mass production in Europe by a global premium automaker, IMSE-based programs are now being initiated across both automotive and non-automotive markets, reflecting growing confidence in the technology’s readiness for series production.
