At TactoTek®, we're all about pushing the boundaries of Injection Molded Structural Electronics (IMSE®) technology and helping our customers succeed. These regular updates ensure everyone using IMSE® has the tools and knowledge to turn their ideas into reality.
What's new in the 2406 Release?
- More languages: We're starting to translate our content into other languages! This release includes the first batch of information in Japanese, covering illuminated features, lighting basics, and mechanics design for IMSE®.
- More materials and components: We're constantly adding new, high-quality materials and components that are compatible with IMSE®. This time, we've included a top-notch RGB LED for car interiors and an additional material stack for the 2F-PC technology platform that makes designing and manufacturing easier.
- Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) made easy: It is crucial for electronics to function properly in their environment. This update includes information on how to design your IMSE® parts to meet EMC requirements.
- Start designing faster: Remember the Feature Library Items (FLIs) we introduced earlier? They're pre-built building blocks with all the design info you need to get started on your project quickly. This update features a new FLI for the LightChannels platform and a complete light line feature that combines multiple light line blocks. Using these FLIs and features lets you kick off your designs even faster!
